This cookie notice (“Cookie Notice”) describes how ZipHQ, Inc. and its affiliates (“Zip”, “we,” “us” or “our”) use, cookies and similar technologies when you use our services (including our websites, web-based products and services, e-mail, and marketing/advertising communications, together the "services").
We use the term “cookie” to refer to all technologies which store and access information on the device that you use to access our services, such as your computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on a visitor’s device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. Cookies can be necessary and useful and are often used to help the website function properly and to provide information to the owner(s) of the site. For example, cookies enable websites to remember information about you, such as your language preference, login information and other user-selected preferences. Cookies also help us understand user activity and patterns of our services.
There are different types of cookies, including:
For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org
Our services use both session and persistent cookies to: enable you to sign in and use our services, store your preferences and settings within them; analyze how they perform, personalize your experience with them, provide interest-based advertising, facilitate social media interaction, allow us to administer the services, track users’ movements around our websites, and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole and for other lawful purposes. We may also use other tracking technologies for these purposes, such as web pixels that track browsing activity, social media widgets that facilitate interaction with social media platforms and unique device identifiers. In some cases, these cookies and other tracking technologies are used by third parties.
Types of Cookies We Use
The following table sets out the different types of cookies that our services use:

What about other tracking technologies?
As noted above, cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to our websites. We may use other similar technologies from time to time, such as web beacons (sometimes called “tracking pixels” or “clear gifs”). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognize when someone has visited our website or opened an email that we have sent them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within our website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of email marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies rely on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will often impair their functioning.
You can personalize which cookies you would like to allow on our websites by using our Cookie Management Tool. You will need to apply these settings at the web browser level on each device from which you wish to save your preferences.
You have the right to choose not to accept certain cookies. However, even optional cookies are an important part of how our services work, so you should be aware that if you choose to refuse or remove certain cookies, this could affect the usability and functionality of our services.
You also have the following choices with respect to your personal information.
You will need to apply these opt-out settings at the web browser level on each device from which you wish to opt-out.
- Cookies. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, certain services may not work properly. Instructions are generally located within the "Help," "Tools," or "Edit" menus.
- Advertising choices. You may be able to limit use of your information for interest-based advertising by:
- Browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings.

- Ad industry tools. Opting out of interest-based ads from companies participating in the following industry opt-out programs:
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). Our use of online tracking technologies may be considered a “sale” / “sharing” under applicable laws. Visitors to our website can opt out of being tracked by these third parties by broadcasting an Opt-Out Preference Signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) using a browser and/or browser extension that supports such a signal. To download and use a browser supporting the GPC browser signal, click here: https://globalprivacycontrol.org/orgs.
- Mobile settings. Using your mobile device settings to limit use of the advertising ID associated with your mobile device for interest-based advertising purposes.
If you are located in the United States, the AppChoices mobile app is available at https://www.youradchoices.com/appchoices, which will allow you to opt-out of interest-based ads in mobile apps served by participating members of the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Collection of your data from our analytics cookies can be deleted. If cookies are deleted, the information collected prior to the preference change may still be used. However, we will stop using the disabled cookie to collect any further information from your user experience. For our marketing cookie, when a user opts out of tracking, a new cookie is placed to prevent users from being tracked.
Deleting your cookies at any time will undo your saved preferences. To re-save preferences, please return to our Cookie Management Tool after clearing your cookies. Also, your preferences may not be saved if you are using a private mode in your web browser.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Do Not Track:
Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” or “DNT” signals to the online services that you visit. Unfortunately, these features are not yet uniform and there is no common standard adopted by industry groups, technology companies, or regulators. Therefore, Zip does not monitor or respond to “Do Not Track” browser requests. To find out more about “Do Not Track,” please visit http://www.allaboutdnt.com
Global Privacy Control:
Zip honours the Global Privacy Control
on browsers and/or browser extensions that support such a signal. To find out more about the Global Privacy Control visit: https://globalprivacycontrol.org/
