We’re excited to share some news from north of the border: Zip has opened a brand new Toronto headquarters at 123 Front Street West in the heart of the city’s financial district.

This new office is a testament to our commitment to Canada and our belief in Toronto as a world-class hub for both sales and engineering talent.

Four times the space, and nearly triple the team

Our new office is four times larger than our previous Toronto location, and we're planning to nearly triple our local workforce by early 2026.

Located directly across from Union Station, we're now neighbors with some of the biggest names in tech, including Snowflake, LinkedIn, Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft.

For the first time, all of our Toronto-based teams will work from a single location. That might sound like a logistical detail, but it's actually a game-changer for mentorship, collaboration, and the kind of spontaneous problem-solving that happens when talented people share space.

Why Zip is expanding in Toronto: Enterprise demand and tech talent

The answer is simple: demand from Canadian enterprises has been explosive. Major organizations like CIBC, Hootsuite, and Stackadapt have adopted Zip's platform, and our Canadian employee count has grown 250% year-over-year. Toronto has proven itself as our second-largest office globally after San Francisco, underscoring Canada's strategic importance to our growth.

But there's another reason we're doubling down on Toronto: the talent.

"We've discovered such incredible sales talent in Toronto who have had remarkable career trajectories at Zip, advancing from business development roles into key account executive positions," said Rujul Zaparde, Zip's cofounder and CEO.

"Now, we're incredibly thrilled to be bringing all our Toronto teams under one roof for the first time to foster even stronger collaboration and mentorship."

Hiring in Toronto: Sales Development, Account Executives, and Engineering roles

Our expansion focuses on three key areas:

  • Early-career sales development: We're building on our track record of developing business development representatives who advance into key sales roles. Toronto has been a proving ground for this approach, and we're scaling what works.
  • Commercial Account Executives: As our mid-market segment rapidly grows, we need talented AEs who can serve these customers with the sophistication they deserve.
  • Engineering Hub: This is where things get really exciting. We've already hired 20 engineers and we're establishing Toronto as our second major engineering hub.

We're targeting exceptional early-career engineers, recent graduates and professionals in their first three years post-university, and giving them something rare: direct mentorship from senior engineers who will be on the ground with them.

Join Zip's Toronto team

If you're an early-career sales professional looking to develop your skills in a high-growth environment, or an engineer who wants to work on challenging problems with direct access to senior mentorship, we'd love to hear from you.

We're actively hiring across business development representatives, account executives, and software engineering roles.
