We’re honored to share that Zip has been recognized by CNBC as one of the World’s Top Fintech Companies for 2025.

Developed in partnership with Statista, the annual list highlights global leaders who are transforming financial services and technology.

Zip was recognized in the Enterprise Fintech category, joining a broader list of global innovators like Visa, Stripe, Brex, and Navan, all underscoring the growing impact of technology across financial operations, including agentic procurement orchestration.

“Being recognized by CNBC validates our belief that procurement is no longer a back-office function, it’s become mission-critical for enterprise success,” said Rujul Zaparde, Zip Co-founder and CEO. “In just five years, we’ve gone from a startup to the platform trusted by the world’s largest companies to manage their most complex purchasing decisions.”

Why this recognition matters

For decades, procurement was overlooked in the fintech conversation, but that’s changing. From inflation and tariffs to global risk and compliance, today’s business challenges demand more than spreadsheets and manual workflows.

Zip’s inclusion in this year’s list signals a shift: intelligent, agentic procurement is now seen as a strategic lever for business growth.

Over the past year, we’ve expanded the power of procurement orchestration by launching a fleet of AI agents that autonomously handle tasks like contract reviews, tariff analysis, and supplier compliance.

These AI agents are part of what helps Zip save our customers millions of hours of manual work, and billions in managed spend.

The numbers tell the story:

  • 3.6% average reduction in total spend under management
  • 25% increase in procurement team productivity
  • $335M saved annually by Snowflake alone
  • 67% increase in throughput at Discover Financial
  • 100% retention across strategic enterprise customers

And behind every number is a team, a partner, or a customer who believes in rethinking how procurement works, and what it can enable.

Built for business at scale

Since founding Zip in 2020, we’ve grown from a single intake solution to a full orchestration platform powering procurement at companies like AMD, Anthropic, Discover, HP, Northwestern Mutual, OpenAI, Reddit, Sephora, and Snowflake.

We’ve been guided by a belief that when procurement flows, business flows. And today, our customers are using Zip to drive alignment, reduce risk, and move faster than ever, even in a world of constant change.

Looking ahead

This recognition from CNBC joins a growing list of recent honors, including the Forbes 2025 Fintech 50, Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies, and being named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for spend orchestration.

But as proud as we are of these accolades, we’re even more excited for what’s next: helping more businesses unlock the strategic value of procurement through AI, orchestration, and automation.

To everyone who’s helped us reach this milestone; our customers, employees, partners, and advisors: thank you. We are truly only just getting started.
